Member Festival Tent

Members can now apply to be a part of some of the cities' best festivals... for free! This is a juried opportunity for member artists of all levels to have up to 30 of their pieces in the MAG Members Festival Tent.  

Deadline to apply is May 28

Festival Dates: 
Stone Arch: 6/20-6/21 
Loring Park: 7/25-7/26
Golden Valley: 9/19

TERMS

Time Exchange Rate
Accepted members can have up to ten pieces at each festival. Though there is no monetary charge, you will be required to volunteer at the MAG tent for the amount of time corresponding to the number of pieces / sizes as outlined below.

Category #1
Pieces under 8” sq (jewelry, greeting cards, small prints, etc)
9 pieces = 1.5 hours
12 pieces = 2 hours
15 pieces = 2.5 hours
18 pieces = 3 hours
21 pieces = 3.5 hours
24 pieces = 4 hours
27 pieces = 4.5 hours
30 pieces = 5 hours

Category #2
Pieces measuring between 8” sq and 16” sq
3 pieces = 1.5 hours
4 pieces = 2 hours
5 pieces = 2.5 hours
6 pieces = 3 hours
7 pieces = 3.5 hours
8 pieces = 4 hours
9 pieces = 4.5 hours
10 pieces = 5 hours

No art larger than 16” will be accepted.

Sales
All sales will be handled by the Minnesota Artists Guild. MAG will collect and pay sales tax and charge a 4% processing fee on each sale. The remaining profits (96% of your sales) will be dispersed within ten days of the last day of each festival.

Artwork Prep
All artwork must be ready to hang or display or it will not be included in the show.
Hanging art: Must include a wire or hook and be ready to hang on a grid wall with S hooks.
Prints: Must have a hard back or be matted. Prints will be placed in a cradle style print rack for people to flip through so a protective sleeve is highly recommended to avoid damage to your art.
Table top: Anything placed on a table should include it’s own display. Framed art should include it’s own stand, either attached to the frame or provided.
