EVENT INFORMATION
We’re back, Baby! For 16 years GVCF's Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival was the premier event of the year. After a brief hiatus, we’re back! This year, we are excited to be sponsored and juried by the Minnesota Artists Guild. With so many great bands, artists, activities, food trucks, beer, wine and more it's the can't-miss fall festival for everyone in Golden Valley and beyond.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Date and Time: Saturday, September 13 from 10:00am – 6:00 pm
Artist Information: Located along the scenic rolling hill pathways under the water tower in Golden Valley, MN. There are up to 60 booths available. Free parking for the artists and convenient drop off/pick up access. Awards for best display, and best in show.
Requirements: All art must be original. No kits, pre-made patterns, or AI generated art will be accepted. Complete the application and include 5 images (four images of current work and one booth image). In choosing those works to be included in the exhibit, attention will be paid to visual impact, quality and craftsmanship.
Important dates for artists: The art festival will take place on September 13, 2025 from 10:00am – 6:00pm. Application deadline is August 10, 2025. You will be notified within two weeks of your submission if you have been invited or if we have added you to the waitlist. Watilisted artists will be alerted of acceptance no later than August 15. Acceptance and purchase of booth space will be required within two weeks of invitation.
Categories: We strive to include quality and unique work in all categories. Our goal is to include artwork that is accessible to a diverse buying audience and available in a variety of price points. No sell through items. The artist attending the fair must handcraft all work.
RULES/REGULATIONS
Rules/regulations: We are committed to treating all of our artists and their work professionally, with dignity, fairness and respect.
All artists must be onsite during the festival. No sell through items.
Artists may only sell items represented in their application and only sell items within the media category they were juried into.
Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. Fair is not responsible for loss or damages.
Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting all appropriate taxes.
Artist booths must be open all hours of the fair. No late arrivals or early exits.
Artists must provide a tent and setup that will withstand wind and rain. We cannot allow artists to use a tent that seems unsafe for neighboring artists or attendees. Weights are required (at least 30 lbs per leg). Shade tents are typically not acceptable. If you have any questions or doubts about the tent you plan to use, please ask in advance.
Only quiet inverter generators are acceptable, loud generators will be shut down.
BOOTH INFORMATION
Booth Sizes: Each booth space will allow for a 10’x10’ tent.
Booth Assignments: Individual booth assignments are at the sole discretion of the Festival and are not interchangeable or transferable.

$115 for Minnesota Artists Guild Members
$135 for all others
REFUND POLICY
August 15, 2025: Last day for cancellation with 50% refund. Beginning August 16, 2025 there are no refunds.
